Im an ATP flight instructor for Executive Flight Training in Beaufort SC. Specializing in advanced Twins, Turboprops and CJ aircraft.

I invented the Thermawing Ice protection system in 1999 and was fortunate to work with the NASA icing team for about 10 years. This included 5 years as a pilot on their twin Otter as an Icing research pilot.

We produced several educational documents and videos on icing during that time and I now utilize all that experience to train GA pilots on flight in icing conditions.

So my main interest here is ice related topics and how we mitigate accidents related to icing.
